We'd be honored if our out-of-town guests would join us for a drink the evening before the main event!
Just a few blocks from our hotel block at the Renaissance, this venue offers some of the best views in downtown Toledo - and Fifth Third Field, home of the world famous Toledo Mud Hens (winners of at least 3 AAA baseball league titles).
Enter from the St. Clair St. entrance, next to the Holy Toledo! Tavern and Fricker's. There's an elevator on the right after you enter, which you take up to the 4th floor rooftop.
Taking a ride on the Sandpiper (or backup bus)
For our guests staying at the Renaissance, we'll be providing boat transportation to the ceremony on the Sandpiper.
Boat will be leaving at 3:00PM sharp, so please be on time! Google "1 Jefferson Avenue, Toledo OH" for best departure address (6 minute walk south from hotel, on the water next to Promenade Park).
Note that there are ~45 steps from the boat drop-off up to the actual ceremony location.
If you miss the Sandpiper (e.g. unable to check-in to the hotel before 3PM on Saturday), we will also have a bus ready to take folks from the Renaissance Hotel to the Ceremony, departing at 3:55PM sharp.
Taking (another) ride on the Sandpiper!
All guests are invited to enjoy a quick boat ride across the Maumee River to the reception at the Toledo Country Club.
As we depart the Sandpiper, people will have the option of golf cart escort or taking newly replaced steps up to to the cocktail hour.
We do need all guests who have cars valeted at the ceremony to have at least 1 person drive that car over to the reception.
Note from lawyer bride: We would ask drivers not to partake in the champagne toast that will be immediately following the ceremony!

Spoiler alert - it will be by boat.
We've found an after-party location, just across the river from the Renaissance.
Featuring "amazing food and nightly entertainment including 'Dining with the Divas' drag shows" and more, it'll be a blast.
We'll be providing buses for folks at the end of the reception to take them over to Hamburger Mary's.
They will also stop by the hotel for folks who want to get a ride back to the hotel instead.
We'll also offer one final shuttle end of the night (time TBD) to bring the after-party crowd back to the Renaissance.
There's also parking at Hamburger Mary for those who have chosen to drive from the Reception.
